The wine is a classic Barbera d'Asti, with a good body and a very good balance between acidity and tannin. The name "Battaglione" reports to the uniform on the label, which in English will be Battalion.
Destemmed and crushed, thermo-controlled and malolactic fermentation in steel tanks and the aging for around 6 months in used French oak barrels. The color is intense, ruby red. Bouquet of ripe fruit with an undercurrent of spices. Full flavor with long persistence.
