By acquiring Château Rollan de By in 1989, Jean Guyon fulfilled an esthete as much as an epicurean dream: owning a vineyard in the Médoc to make great wine. At the start, a hut in the middle of 2 hectares of vines in the north of the Médoc and on arrival a successful bet with a castle - one of the most famous - with 87 hectares of clayey gravel. Today, Château Rollan de By is one of the greatest ambassadors of French wines that we taste with pleasure and greed around the world. This wine is the expression of an osmosis between a man and his terroir, a dream come true.
