Bread & Butter Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon
This powerful and concentrated Cabernet combines notes of cassis, violet, dried blackberries, mocha and tobacco leaves with firmly structured tannins and a broad, mouth-filling texture. Structured and balanced with a long and outstanding finish.
Located well above the fog line on the east side of Napa Valley, the Howell Mountain AVA is known for producing dense, imposing Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes for this wine were grown in a single vineyard with well-drained volcanic ash and clay soils. Due to the elevation and position of the mountain, these grapes received long hours of sunlight followed by cool night temperatures, which ensured that they reached their peak expression while maintaining high acidity.
